Get your XP cd, stick it in your drive open a command prompt [if you can] and type sfc /scannow hit enter and windows will search for and replace any files in the os that are corrupt

I would assume/HOPE that the toolbars are very customizeable ... because those views would be totally distracting to me.

I'll use whatver suits me best. I mean, some folks swear by one vector app over another, but when you get down to it, the person USING it has to decide what works best for him/her. Personally, whether it's pay or freeware, doesn't matter to me. @wiebeest - I still use my dock ... I have some very handy folders on it currently [10 in fact] and it's nice having them easily accessed whether an app is fullscreen or not ... a simple mouse over the edge and it pops right up.
