I would like to see an align to grid option in the desklets properties. I was thinking that the user could align the center of each desklet to a user configurable (in another dialog of course) grid. The user could select a checkbox if he wanted this particular desklet aligned to the grid and deselect if he didn't. This would really help to align the pidlshortcuts like My Computer, HD A, HD B, etc. What do you think? Adverseyaw

I did download the update from ms. I think you are refering to .aveinst files not working. Which they didn't before I downloaded the update. But now they work fine. My original post concerns the nsis installer for AveDesk 1.3 that kgraphic created and posted. That is what I am having trouble with. Adverseyaw

I keep getting the following warning when I try to run the AVE installer: " The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus. You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy. It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line switch (NOT RECOMMENDED)." Is there another site to download from? AdverseYaw

Andreas, I love the new ave desk. Thanks for a great and useful app. I have a request. What is the weather desklet that you are using for all of your screenshots? I would like to use that one for my desktop but don't know which one it is. Has it been released? or is it your own design and still beta. I like the way that it shows the predicted hi/low for the day and the graphics. Thanks, Adversesyaw

First of thanks for a great dock Raduking. The Aladdin Effect works fantastic here. It seems to minimize just like my wifes mac which is about 5 feet from me. The CPU usage goes up to 47% which is quite acceptable. I am really pleased with the "Exclude" feature being implimented. Now I don't have to worry about Outlook minimizing to the dock and having it crash when I cant restore it from the Task bar. Yes, that is a good idea. Is there a way to make it a service (perhaps I am way off base here) that starts automatically at windows start? Right now I have it in the Run folder of (HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun) of my registry. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun] " RKLauncher"=""E:Program FilesRKLauncherRKLauncher.exe"" So it runs at startup each time. I am trying to trigger the map on a MappedImageOverlay to start at Black when seconds equal 1. Then continue until the seconds equal 0. How do I detect the reset of seconds from 59 to 0? Basically, I am trying to make a clock face with the seconds indicated by the mapped overlay. The mask has 60 steps in the gradient from black to white. Each one covers a 'Second'. However the timer meter doesn't seem to indicate the start of a minute. It does unmask a second each second though. So I think I am getting close. I have the min set to 0 and max set to 59. When it reaches 0 it does reset. Unfortunately :slant:it doesn't do it on the start of a minute. It seems to do it randomly, 60 seconds after it starts, not neccessarily on the start of a minute. I haven't seen this posted, so here goes... - On a shortcut to a folder, say My computer, a mouse wheel click opens a menu with all the folders and files on the computer (my computer, remember?). The menu scrolls to show all the drives, folders, files, et al. This is a major feature of yzdock, IMHO. Not that this is a dock, mind you. it is a launcher, and maybe a launcher shouldn't behave that way. At least not in this day and age... now in my fathers day... but I digress. My two cents worth.

I select 'Same Instance' checkbox on an app in RKLauncher properties. Let's say Firefox. Then I have firefox minimized to RKLauncher dock. If I click on the firefox icon the dock again (not the minimized window) it opens a new instance of firefox. It doesn't un-minimize the one i have in the dock. Am I expecting the wrong action from clicking 'Same Instance'? Thanks.

Great job on the rkdock! It seems to be following the other one closely. I love the added functionality of minimize to dock. I look forward to either 'jenie' or 'scale'.
