you could maybe reshack the visual style. but usually if ya make minor changes to the visual style it should retain the settings after a reboot, are you using any third party software that runs after logon??

ya can make ya titlebar font 1pt and make the color as close to the titlebar color as possible but ya can still faintly see the text shadow, and i couldnt find how to remove it

mine seems to ignore the [ExcludeModule] setting, im using gdi0850 build that came without the tray [couldnt seem to find a recent link for tray]

I made a vbscript that does this for me you could change the line SH.SendKeys "vh" to: SH.SendKeys "vs" for tiles SH.SendKeys "vn" for icons SH.SendKeys "vl" for list SH.SendKeys "vd" for details im sure someone will find a use for this. im using this is a shortcut to open folders

i was wondering if anyone could tell me the shortcut to change explorer to 'thumnails' mode. cause what i would like to do is use launchy to open a folder with a pictures in it and use an argument to change it automatically to thumbnail mode edit: also does anyone know the shortcut to empty the recycle bin??

works fine in rklauncher this will be awesome once theres more stuff to customize.

you could possibly just adjust the background image so that it is 10px higher, although might look wierd

yeah ubuntu. well im getting a cd not because i dont have a fast enough connection but cause i dont have enough bandwidth [i only have 5gb per month, damn nation]. any idea how long the take to get sent out??

no, if you edit the folder icon in shell32.dll you can make the background transparent but it will still have the same spacing. What you could do is change the folder to a custom icon and increase the size of icon display, although increasing ya icon size will make everything the same size even icons on desktop ;(.

yea cant wait, just gotta wait for my disc to arrive [it sucks being at the bottom of the world] its like my desktop tells everything about my life, lol

you could always change the size of icons in 'icons view' with tweakui and then install xentient thumbnails which makes pics into icons automatically

First Cool App, i done this but it still shows the open windows, the wallpaper is always put in C:Documents and Settings"username"Local SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftWallpaper1.bmp i tried pointing the file directly to it but it seems like it cant read files out of the skins dir

can anyone tell me how to remove the 'my computer' link on the status bar, the picture should explain it also is there anyway to change the size of the icons in explorer without changing the size of the ones on the startmenu. or can you change the layout of tile icon labels??

whats up with the explorer contents. is it just 256x256 icons?? or is it somehow generated??
