Album artist is useful if a song has 'feat. artist X' or for collectives where different artist perform each song but release under the same artist name. For example: My Culture by 1 Giant Leap (Album Artist) - performed by Maxi Jazz and Robbie Williams (Artist).

This is because the itunes process cannot access the file while it is being used by foobar. Pretty sure there is no way to really get around this.

I to also get this problem. Never mentioned it cause it only happens once in a blue moon. Usually I go into preferences or something using the keyboard and that brings it back in to focus. Oh and I'm getting random crashes when I start the new version of itunes. I think I may revert to a previous version.

You don't need to use the drivers that get supplied by Logitech with the mouse. I use the generic Windows HID drivers and it works perfectly on USB. Not sure about PS/2.

You can copy downloaded album art (right click art pane). So if you then paste this in the tag window like usual will it be saved to the ID3 tags?

@Jimmeh What foobar output are you using? Do you have kernel steaming enabled? How cut short are they? maybe you have some sorta crossfade enabled.

Ok... I've been having some problems with itunes and while I can't directly attribute it to mplugin I suspect it may be the cause. Basically the window just goes wild (see screen shot). Only the front window is real- as in responds to clicks and stuff. I can't really tell what I've done to trigger this behaviour but it has happened at least 5 times. I never experienced it with out mplugin. Can anyone shed some light on this strange problem?

OK.. just happened to me as well. Oh well looks like its back to tunesleve.

Sometimes all I need to do is toggle this option when my tray icon goes missing.

Are you running a program that might be accessing the scripting interface? Mplugin supresses the warning that comes up when you try to close it while something is using this interface (ie. avetunes) so maybe that is why?

Thanks for such a quick release, it seems to be very stable for me. A couple of things -The installer still seems to hang when looking for an update I've had this problem for a couple of versions, not such a big deal but sometimes I forget to select the no-update option and I have to kill the process. -As an avid fan of the foobar passthrough I really hope you are able to get it working again (although now with gapless as standard in iTunes I don't know exactly how much I'll need it). Thanks again for the hard work:)

The point is that itunes now does it without the need for a third party app (although I do love tunesleve). The one thing I hate about the Amazon/Google images is that heaps of them have a parental advisory sticker and if there isn't a *clean* version you stuck with it. The one thing that it has got me to do is clean up my album names so that itunes can match them easier.

I also got the dreaded pops- but switching to waveout mode in Quicktime preferences fixed that. I haven't had to deal with those pops since I started using the foobar pass-through so lets hope the new Mplugin makes it out of beta asap. It is the only thing that made iTunes bearable for me.

Do you want to flip the video? You can quite easily do this with avisynth and any player (eg. mpc) that can take an avs script as input.

You need loadavatars.dll You may also need to enable avatars for MSN in it's options page. (Not sure about Yahoo!) For enabling avatars in message window as long as you have loadavatars- scriver and tabsrmm should display them in a small box in the ower right-hand corner. If you want them in your message log you will need to use ieview and a ieview theme that display avatars. To change icons- try using iconlib.dll or chnge the global protocol icon then under options-> contact list-> general tab-> system tray icons when.... select the tray icon to show global status rather than protocol status.

There is a problem with multiplugin and updating 5gen iPods. IT seems to crash if trying to update too many songs at once. Does your computer recognise it as a UMS device? Have you iven it a bit of time- sometimes i have to wait on iTunes to recognise my iPod?
