I upgraded my desktop to Seven a couple months ago but kept my XP installation thinking I would want to go back to it at least occasionally. I haven't had cause to boot it since. Seven is indeed pretty awesome. I would only caution that you ensure hardware compatibility with seven, especially the 64 bit version. There may be no usable drivers for some of your hardware.

Back in August I redesigned my website (this design). Neither I or a lot of people were especially happy with the color scheme or layout. I recently spent a few hours changing the site and redoing the colors and I would like to know what you guys think. My main concern is the color scheme, which I like but is potentially offensive. I think you have a solid site here. My only suggestion would be adding a means of listing the services you offer above the scroll of the homepage (at 1024x768)... maybe just add "web design, print, identity, whatever" below that collage.

I agree that the fonts could be a tad smaller. I'd suggest you try adding some (very) dark grays in addition to the nearly all black theme you have. You should probably add a link to a page explaining the benefits of signing up. The google site search should be styled with CSS and labeled as something like "search madrapvideos.com" The login at the top of the page could be styled and made a lot more attractive as well. You might want to reconsider the name "VIP membership" since it is free.

10.3 seconds. I could probably get down to 6 seconds if I practiced for a while.

After a format last week I'm finally up to SP3. FlyaKite pretty works fine although I discovered in forum threads here a couple issues that I easily avoided. Apparently there are problems with the login/boot screens so I didn't install those. Also, the UXtheme patch is out of date so you have to deselect that and get an SP3 patch separately.

Any winamp and/or trillian skins you could recommend to go with this style?

Understandable... but I'm using the milk button set doesn't have it's own icon, looks like the brushed version is in it's place. ...I hope I don't sound like a whiner 'cause this is a great theme.

I've been using this theme and I tried to add the little apple button for the Compactmenu extension without success. Has anyone else tried/succeeded to do this?

Has anyone successfully added the little "apple" compactmenu button to the Foxdie skin? I tried myself but I can't get it working.

A while back StefanKa released a "Panther Snow" theme, seen here - http://www.neowin.net/forum/lofiversion/in...hp/t129330.html I've been trying to track down the included wallpaper to no avail. I found one copy of it called "panther snow" but I don't think that's the name of the wallpaper and searching that string yielded nothing. I tried to contact StefanKa with a few different means but recieved no response. I'm wondering if anyone is familiar with this desktop and what it might actually be called. Any help would be appreciated.

I hate to ressurect a dead topic but i'm having the same problem. Does anyone knopw where this i located? I've spent an unmentionable amount of time trying to track this down without success. I've tried every file tied to the drivers and control panel and xpsp*res.dll files and haven't found any luck. They all have bluetooth icons but not this tray icon. I just had this problem, likely caused by that 9 mb limit issue. I ran uninstall, restored just shell32.dll, then ran setup again, modded just shell32.dll with the 48px icons instead of 128px like I had before. Problem solved.
