Pizzalover53
Look for the Vista OS X folder in your 'Program Files' directory. It should be there. Or go to Control Panel, and Program and Features, and look for Vista OS X or similar. Then click uninstall, and follow directions. If it's not there, don't worry! use System Restore. Go to Start and type System Restore. Hope this works. Link to comment
DarkDragon
use this, found on the official website. http://rapidshare.com/files/114231099/Uninstall.exe.html Link to comment
Echo 418
I tried this uninstaller a month ago but some of the ressources stayed, for exemple, on computer props, the Vista os X logo stayed there after the uninstall. I dont know if this is only me but is there anyway to get it back? Link to comment
KAWSquared
A repair install might work. Link to comment
Echo 418
Ok thanks but when I try to re-run the installer (after a try to reinstall), it say that: Original german Einige Datein konnten nicht erstellt werden. Bitte shlieben Sie alle Anwendungen, starten sie Windows neu und starten sie die installation erneutEnglish:Some files could not be created. Please close all applications that run and start the installation again. Problem is that everything should be correct. I see if a reboot make it. Link to comment
Phoshi
Try going up to system restore and going 'pew pew pew' until it gets scared and starts restoring your system. That should fix anything to do with your vital system files, everything else shouldn't be a problem to get rid of. CherriPez
Good luck. The guy that made this is a faggot, and doesn't know what he's doing. Link to comment
jatonblue
i unstalled this when i was using vista a while back. impossible to uninstall. such terrible, buggy software Link to comment
boogerrogers
yea and the guy that made it refuses to answer back to questions, he only responds to people who praise him, any negative comments warning people about that software are hidden. He is a total douche. Link to comment
Phoshi
The person who gave me a simple-to-install package for making Vista look like OS X is a twatSo do it yourself, then. Link to comment
pedromonge
Maybe you should turn UAC off and then try uninstalling, since you need UAC off to install it in the first place. Just a thought though... Haven't tried uninstalling it since I looove it. Link to comment
boogerrogers
So do it yourself, then. Hardly, someone who publishes software with an ineffective uninstaller and then hiding comments warning people that the uninstaller doesn't work is a twat, I understand though you wanted to be a smartass. I'm one too Link to comment
Phoshi
No, really.Produce your own transformation pack, with or without an uninstaller. Link to comment
evilmnky204
It's better to do it yourself anyway. That way you choose what skins, what icons, what programs, and you have full control. I do agree though that the guy is a complete ass. Link to comment
Phoshi
Well yeah, but I can't not defend him when they attack specifically for not having an uninstaller If you don't do it yourself... where's the fun? Getting stuff that works, changing it round every few weeks (or days if I'm bored) is much better than being forced to stay RIGHT HERE MISTER >:| Link to comment
boogerrogers
Why do you keep telling me to do it myself? I did do it myself, have you even seen my desktops their better then 95 percent of the stuff posted here. I didn't use that dumb pack I know better I have been dealing with other peoples problems with it.Ps. I agree completely with Evilmonkey doing it yourself is a blast and at least you know that you are unique, transformation packs ruin that for me. Thats why I never release anything I make. pedromonge
Yeah... I would be a little discouraged that people were getting mad about the uninstaller not working... I would be thinking "I worked so hard to make this, why do you wanna uninstall it!? *cries*". lol. Link to comment
evilmnky204
Well yeah, but I can't not defend him when they attack specifically for not having an uninstaller It's not that he doesn't have an uninstaller. Any form of criticism is immediately hidden, and the fact that he has taken resources from other themes in his own, without giving credit. The people who pointed it out were just hidden as usual, until one of the authors who's work was included in his theme opened up the theme in some editor and posted a deviation showing everyone he took those resources. So yeah, there are other reasons that people don't like the guy Link to comment
