I'm a hundred times to distribute this combination of file folders, to again enjoy the next flight programs at startup Stack Docklet B2

Load me your folder with the program - last will and testament drowning ...

actually i am using objectdock2 instead of rocketdock.

OK will download and install rocket dock to see what happend...

OK run well on the first start but as you said crash after reboot my comp...

Rusikxxx... please change your rocketdock folder permission to full control... its work and not crash after i change the permission of the folder to full control...

change your folder permission like this... copy my rocketdock folder to you will not solve the problem but this one could be...

No, it's the same as in the video. And doing all this many times before. Now try objectdock 2, and if you do not like, you'll use RocketDock without StackDocklet. Thank you for your time.

And you change the permission already? Just watch your video. depositfile is very slow here... i can see that all the stackdocklet file is in its place already... only the permission. are sure you change it to full control already.

Very beautiful desktop and icon set you have there by the way...

Just reboot my computer for the 4th time and rocketdock is still working...QUIT AND RE-RUN for several time as well. no crash... but if i take back the permission then it crash. So FULL PERMISSION IS MANDATORY...

Hi,

I was very satisfied from stackdocklets1.... but now the folders and the app icons break the link to the real folder or exe.

anyway I'm using version2... it's working on xp sp3.

a question...

is there a way to let show icons in a smaller size... the one are to big for me!

Ok someone pleaseeee explain how to fix Stack Docklet 2.0 to show icons on Win7 64bit ULTIMATE. I can configure the main icon of the stack but the icons inside the fan/grid are all the same - the docklet is not using the real icons :( Someone said he fixed it but didnt say how :(

oh my goodness...atleast SOMEONE out there has the same problem as me.lol

Ive been trying for DAYS to fix this...of course to no avail.

I want to ask...(bc i know or atleast read that stacksdocklet isnt all that compatible

with windows 7 x64)...*FOR THE DEVELOPERS* - Can stacks docklet 2 support standard ico. files?

It only seems to use the png. files for the icons and windows 7 ultimate x64 isnt compatible with png. icon files(clueless as to

why not). ive already tried converting and icon packager...nothing works.

Much like m2iceman...i just want my icons to show up when i click on my stacks docklet, instead of blank white pieces of paper.

To help you all who might have answers better understand this problem...here is a link to a screenshot of my desktop.

More specifically...a screenshot of what my stacks docklet and the icons within it look like when poped out.

I signed up for aquasoft just for this reason, to help you. I tried rocketdock, and i liked it, but it wouldnt run on startup for me. So, I tried object dock, and it works great. If you want a great grid/fan, just go to this vid

It shows how to, its easy, works great. It's what I used to use with rocketdock, if you dont get what to do scroll down to uploader comments for step by step

I'm running Win XP SP 2 [x86/32 bit] and RK Launcher 0.41.

I downloaded the zip from post #484 and extracted StackDocklet.dll, StackLib.dll, Open.png and Stack.png to

C:\Program Files\RK Launcher\RK Launcher 0.41 Beta Nightly\docklets\StackDocklet2.0\

I also tried moving StackLib.dll to

C:\Program Files\RK Launcher\RK Launcher 0.41 Beta Nightly\docklets\

In both cases when trying to add docklet -> Stacks Docklet, I get this error message:

But the docklet is created anyway, it' just doesn't have any icon.

The real problem is that the properties dialogue looks like this:

I can change the icon, and that's it. What should I write and in what field to get the docklet show the folder I want?

I was going to install a damaged hard drive just to see if i could recover the stackdocklet 2.0 installation that was in it, Thank you very much! for sharing this when it's no longer available from the online installer or Matias Moreno's page (wonder what happened with him). I didn't noticed this post before, thanks to user LemonVanilla for pointing it out.

YEah, thanks for the "open more than one" tricks. A lot of years later, I wouldn't have been able to go through this !!!

But it was still still crashing (seven 64)... I read again, then :

stack docklet 2 with objectdock 2. Confirmed ;)

and ...

copy bSAYZ extracted StackDocklet2.0 folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus2\Docklets or C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDockFree2\Docklets

and

copy StackLib.dll to C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus2 and you are Gold!

In win7, I make a folder containing all the shortcuts of programs (in Program Files and Program Files x86). In option of the Stack Docklet, I point to the that folder. Everything is ok but the icons cannot show while opening Stack docklet in Object dock though I can click to open the shortcut.

Anyone can help me slove this problem? Thx in advance.

First of all I want to congratulate and thank Matias and all those who contributed to tremendous work from Stack

Docklet nothing was the same and many ways to manage desktops and Windows changed.

My problem is that since the Stack Docklet either 2.0 or Rocket Dock RK Launcher is

I unconfigured the Doclet's and I are the folders I have on the desktop and if not

I have no icons seem to me that should be by default, My Computer, Trash

recycling, user files, networks, etc..

It happens with the two bars, and even close to me and I can not reopen them, which may

be?

I hope I can provide some solution and I thank you again, telling them

even though version 2.0 is in Beta phase is spectacular ...!

Docklet ya nada fue igual y muchos escritorios y maneras de manejar Windows cambiaron.

Mi problema es que puesto el Stack Docklet 2.0 ya sea en Rocket Dock o en RK Launcher se

me desconfiguran los Doclet's y me aparecen las carpetas que tengo en el escritorio y si no

tengo ninguna me parecen los iconos que deberían verse por defecto, Mi Pc, Papelera de

reciclaje, Archivos de usuario, Redes, etc.

Me pasa con las dos barras, e incluso se me cierran y no puedo volver a abrirlas, que podrá

ser?

Espero que me puedan brindar alguna solución y nuevamente les agradezco, diciéndoles que

por más que la versión 2.0 este en fase Beta está espectacular...!

Hi all, I too have had this problem with the white icons. After doing some research and removing apps that I installed after the stack docklet, this is what i was able to figure out:

OS: win7 ultimate sp1 x64

RD: 1.3.5

Stack Docklet: 1.0.0.134 (http://rocketdock.com/addon/docklets/30962) - I also tried http://rocketdock.com/addon/docklets/1791 and http://rocketdock.com/addon/docklets/22757. also tried StacksDocklet2-prebeta-2009-04-02.rar from http://www.matiasmoreno.com.ar/en/Stacks+Docklet+2.0

my problem was Stardocks iconpackager v5. As soon as I uninstalled iconpackager and closed/open RD, I was able to see all the icons in their full color, etc... This happens on all the versions of Stack Dock in RD.

A side note, on SDv2, the change icon opens a windows Open File screen instead of RD icons window. The title when fanned is on top of the icons.

Other than that, I have not had any other issues. Hope that the icon issue can get fixed.
