smoke
Basically it's like the minimize in place feature in windowshadeX.http://screenshots.haque.net/screenshots/v...nshot-10905.jpgMinimized windows can be interacted with and resized as well. And there is an option to have shadows on the windows. The mini windows can minimize in place or line up against the edges of the desktop also. You right click on the window to restore it.Oh yeah I forgot, you need object desktop to get the new version with this feature. Link to comment

Duckie
tiles arent working for meanyone else having issues? Link to comment
smoke
The issues I have are that some windows aren't initially the right proportions and it is putting black where the nasty pink makes transparency in my borders. Also some windows suck as iTunes or similar programs don't get affected as they don't get affected by transitions either. But that's about it.Did you put a check to enable and pick the options? I then put a check on tile when minimize button is hit and tiles should update their contents while they are inactive.Have you tried other painting options?Oh yeah, I remembered that the first time I tried it I had to restart any program I wanted it to work with in order for it to work. Especially explorer. Link to comment
Goku
thumbs up to smoke the leet g33k for the tips. This feature is one of the best ive seen in YEARS, including expose. :woot: Link to comment
Goku
btw, i dont mind the black 1px around the tiles. I dont believe its a 'bug' and it doesnt look like one imo. but who cares :moon: looking forward for the final version of that. Link to comment
ieub
did you also noticed that this new version add shadows to any tooltips, just like on OS X?Unfortunately it still not skins special classes windows like iTunes,i will still have to use the lil add shadow stuff, while hoping this will be included in next release.. smoke
Yes I did notice that but I wasn't sure if it was becuase of a setting I changed or what.I would also like a built in add a shadow feature as well. What would be cool to go with it is if user specified shadows only affected WB skinned windows and the shadow you specify in the settings apply to the rest also so you can have specific shadows for specific themes and still have shadows for windows such as itunes. I would also like to have optional badges on the mini windows, for the aspect ratio to be respected all the time and for the transparency to be fixed in tiles. I have written to the stardock newsgroup so they can consider those things. Link to comment

smoke
It is worth a try, I asked for thumbnails in DesktopX and they added it after someone else asked too.Oh yeah in that last post I meant... when you specify a shadow in the WB skin, have it only apply to WB skinned windows and the one you specify in the control panel for the rest. I still have yet to find out how to specify the shadow in the WB skin like it says in the control panel though. Link to comment
chrisa107
I wish they could shore up some of the other features and make them work flawlessly or at least better than they are now instead of introducing new ones. Link to comment
