lostspyder
go and install the latest drivers for your graphics card and make shure you have your monotor driver installed (and not just a generic one the driver for your exact modle monitor). This usualy happens to me when i reinstall windows and havet installed drivers. Either that or its because "dude youve got a dell!". Link to comment
pichfl
Well, I think You forgot to install a) the chipset drivers or the graphics card driver. in any other case I agree to lostspyder EDIT:Mephisto was faster than me: Yes all Dells I have seen have horrible benchmarks, even with the best and most expensive components. I think it's because of the bad configuration of the hardware and of the fit of each thing in the pc to each other. (hope you understand, don't know exactly if thats the right way you will say it in english, since I have holidays here in germany my english gets worse.) //pichfl PS: Everybody who ownes a Dell and is happy: Don't worry, be happy. they are not really bad, but I know much better configured systems then these. bedlam
i think a solution is update your video card, you said yours has only 32 mb? try getting a 128 mb, its cheap nowadays. a temporary solution would be disabling the menu animations and "show windows while dragging" options" in the system /advanced/visial effect properties. hope this helps. twmspro
haha no its not128s are super pricy for notebooks. Although it should be nice. What about your memory. Is there enough for everything you do? Link to comment
pichfl
ok: maybe it'S because of the WinFX - which things did you activate - maybe your mx is a bit to bad Link to comment
