cjborodin
yeah i can't use it on vista. either the text is transparent, or finderbar loads really strangely where it gets rid of the minimized windows -like it's supposed to- but that's all it does. if i kill it in task manager, it doesn't do anything and i have to restart explorer.has landvermesser abandonded this program? this is my favorite mac bar emulation! WWEExpress
Hello, I just downloaded Finderbar Engine 1.5. I have Windows 7 Home Premium. Whenever I open Finderbar it doesn't look nice. It overlapped my former taskbar. How can I get it to look normal. Link to comment
josh16
I have the same problem as the post above me. The text and menu loads, but it just shows on top of windows normal taskbar, instead of taking the look of the macs. Anyone have any insight? I'm using xp. Link to comment
mps69
Not sure if this will work for Windows 7 as the application was developed before this OS was ever released so it's a bit of suck it and see, but it will work with XP, right click the Finderbar, and select "Skin it".As a side note, most of these types of questions have been asked numerous times here, try reading the thread before posting. Bjoern
The Finderbar makes a screenshot of your taskbar and uses this. You have to have a skinned taskbar before or change the background.png in the finderbar folder. Link to comment
jpenguin
I;ve installed />http://www.mascobz.com/best-snow-leopard-transformation-pack-for-windows-7/ why does finderbar look like this... Edited August 28, 2010 by jpenguin Link to comment
thatguy009
Because it skins you taskbar, your taskbar is that size so finderbar will be that size Plus it wasn't made for Windows 7 Link to comment
mareel3
I have installed, skinned and put finderbar at the top of my desktop but it is blue instead of white. How do I make it white with the apple icon?Moved - mps69 Link to comment
