SioSae Posted July 21, 2005 Author Report Share Posted July 21, 2005 in case of the new resized icons in the widgetdock folder. the size of the icons is 74x75, the same like set in the dock, so you will get best look and performance if you make your icons the same size (so konfabulator hasn't to resize them for viewing) Link to comment

picselutz Posted July 22, 2005 Report Share Posted July 22, 2005 i have a problem too: If you click to change the icon and then you decide not to change it and click cancel.. the default icon appears. it doesn't return to the last icon I thought it might be usefull. Looking forward fot Konfab 2.1... i hope they made some tweaking to the performance too ... I have only 128 DDR RAM... so... imagine if I open all my widgets. [offtopic] I am thinking of buying a Mac Mini.. i got tired to make my windows look like Mac OS X... I am just curious: If I buy the one at 500$... will OS X Tiger work like in the Quicktime movies ? or I will need to upgrade the 256 DDR to 1GB ? Link to comment

PDidee Posted July 22, 2005 Report Share Posted July 22, 2005 @picelutzIf your referring to the ripple effect in Tiger when placing widgets on the desktop then the answer is no. You will have all of the functionality of OSX Tiger without the bells and whistles of Core Image. A different graphics card is needed for that and is not present in the Mac Mini. Core Image only supports a handful of graphic cards at the moment unfortunately. However the advancements and ease of use is well worth the switch. The last issue of Mac Addict broke Tiger down and explained many of the new and improved features to great detail and has cut my production time for clients in half. The os is really fast too. SioSae Posted July 22, 2005 Author Report Share Posted July 22, 2005 the config file is the default one and since version 2.1 it will be empty because on some pcs the widget crashes if there are drives configured inside which doesn't exist. you can use your own old config. just make sure not to owerwrite it by the default one. sorry, that you had to reconfigure everything again. That would sometimes be useful for me - like when I'm using my laptop without a mouse, since the touchpad can be a bit of a drag to use. Your dock has completely changed the way I use K2 - thank you! SioSae Posted July 26, 2005 Author Report Share Posted July 26, 2005 sorry, found a bug in the new version. if you leave the widgetmanager in another scrollstate than scrolled to topmost and enter the manager again, it will show old scrollstate and fresh scrollstate together. the list fix itself by scroll it once but anyway. bug is fixed and will be released soon. i will check if there are other things, that wont working well with konfab 2.1SioSae Link to comment

aquahawk Posted July 26, 2005 Report Share Posted July 26, 2005 First i would like to say thanks for the widget i think its great, however it now has a bug as of version 2.3, if i have placed more than ten widgets on the dock and then click the right arrow and click on any of the second set of icons that it slides too it wont spawn the widgets any more,i then have to close the dock and open it up again for the icons on the dock to spawn widgets. Are you aware of this bug and if so i will just wait to the next release.Keep up the good work. Link to comment
