uhohzitzcooky
awesome announcement! i just purchased a Logitech MX518 for my PC and was planning a MacMice the Mouse for my Mac, but that's about to change thanks to Apple realizing the NEED for the 2 button mouse. Link to comment
ZeeZ
I actually think a scollWHEEL is much better - but with the applehype going on they will probably send millions back to the stoneage Link to comment
Timan
Well I bought it because the damn mx1000 looks like a brick next to the apple keyboard . Plus there are no actual mouse buttons, pure touch, plus a built in speaker to make a clicking noise lol. Link to comment
styke
Wow! They did include a speaker? lol! I was just wondering how can it be used in a PC Link to comment
steelfist
this is going to be a very good/creative mouse. going to buy it no matter WHAT! however, i still don't understand how to use that "nipple" on the mouse. if i were to use that, i would feel perverted do you see my problem? :slant: also, for some reason it reminds of that celebrity jeopardy video wtih "sean connery" and alex trebeck and the "penis mightier" instead of "pen is mighter" .............man "will that really mighty my penis?" that was a really funny video. Timan
I bet stevie when he gets back from the states (YES HE's HERE RUN!) will die over it, he was telling me the other day he uses a trackball mouse >_ Link to comment
Pedroz
mmm... ;( I likes much more my own brand new Razer Diamondback mouse. It looks much more "21st century thing" than this one.... mmm.... Link to comment
Frenchie
Honestly, this is probably the biggest mouse improvement I've seen for a really long time. Excellent work on the design and everything... *sigh*, if only I had my ibook to use it on!! Link to comment
rjohnstone
The "nipple" is the scroll ball. Still sounds perverted either way.System Requirements : Mac OS X (programmability requires Mac OS X v10.4.2 Tiger or later), or Windows 2000 or Windows XP.It works with Windows too!!! Link to comment
bh2
Looking forward to this...retail outlets are? Link to comment
siddharth
lol @ freakin Mac users...getting so happy over a 2 button mouse. We Windows users have had them for 10 years you know....laff Link to comment
steelfist
it's not only a 2 button mouse you know......:slant: it's a bit diffrent than the ones you used 10 years ago and also the ones you use now. Link to comment
rjohnstone
It's really a four button mouse with a scroll "ball" instead of a wheel. Hardly a new idea. The four button mouse has been around for over 10 years. All they did was hide the buttons under a thin cover... nice idea, wonder how durable it is? Link to comment
pwnzrzpat
they didn't "hide" the buttons. they are touch sensitive. you don't click them. you apply force on one side or the other like the force buttons on the sides. it's basically all touchie with a speaker that makes a noise... the ball is the first ball to be used for a scroll ball. yes trackballs but they were used for moving the cursor not purposely for scrolling. not VERY innovative, but a new idea nonetheless wtf why is is cheaper than the one button bluetooth mouse? that one sucks now Link to comment
Nirodha
it's a mouse dont have an orgasm. Also the scroll ball is being used on other mice that are available Link to comment

pwnzrzpat
yeah and your uber obsession with longhorn vista **** that is basically a ****tied up version of tiger is no less. people will always get excited over new apple products simple because it is the pwn. please don't tell me you don't think that mouse is so sexy. go lick your microsoft s+arck. that's like saying "it's just a computer." maybe it doesn't matter to you. but it matters to some people you shouldn't hurt their feelings just because they like a mouse by the best computer company in the world. maybe just the fact that apple has created a mouse that is not one button for hundreds of years makes people excited they don't have to buy 3rd party products for apple purists.
