sean.fletcher
Does anyone know how to replace the QuickTime logos in iTunes 6? When I'm looking at my videos, in some of the ones I've added, it just show the QuickTime logo as the preview image, and I'd like to replace it with a shot from the movie. Link to comment
gtn
I'm guessing the QT logo comes up because iTunes is having issues decoding the video to grab the first frame.Im not sure you can change the preview image, as there's no standard way to store the data. The only reason iTunes can do music artwork is because the ID3v2 standard supports it. RIMMER
There's another big question that bothers me now. Why 6? I discovered the sixth version just a few minutes ago. It was 5 about 3 weeks ago, I remember. What the hell happened to change the major version number so soon? Link to comment
Faneramx
Yeah i'm wondering too! But i think it's because iTunes can Play now videos.... Link to comment

nightcrawler1089
I'm afraid Apple tried to sneak a version of iTunes in there anyway, but I'll give it a try . Thanks Larsen! -NC Link to comment
Ivan
you can always try "quick time alternative", provided you're on windows.google. Link to comment

gtn
There must be. They are devs!A reson for the quick jump to v6?Purely to co-incide with the iPod video release.Maybe iPod video support is considered to be a major feature......maybe the new version number is a product of the Apple hype-machine. Arathon
lol - "they are devs"I agree with #1 and #3 answers from gtn. The new iPod may be a major feature, but iTunes support for videos is definitely not as big as podcasting, and podcasting came along with 4.9. Wow - that seems like so long ago. lol Link to comment
