RIMMER
Hi everyone. Tho it's a pretty long time since AveScripter was released, there's not so much configs posted. Today I managed my laziness and created a new desklet. It is called NIMMER and it's a numeric game. NIMMER is a fully AveScripter'ed fun stuff. Pretty rough work done in 1 day... Download ZIP (~101 KB) Please, remember, this works ONLY with AveScipter installed (since its just a config for it). Installation: Unpack archive to [AveDesk installation path]DeskletsAveScripter. There should appear a NIMMER folder. Then open AveDesk Control Panel and add NIMMER from AveScripter branch. Enjoy! License: Who the f*** needs it. You probably won't use NIMMER commercialy, so - have fun. Just don't steal anything out of there. Link to comment
AndreasV
Looks really sweet, but can anyone has an idea on how the game actually works? Crap, it was on the back whooops Link to comment
pcm
Thanks... Now I feel dumb... can't seem to win. Lovely... Beaten by a puter. Cool stuff.... If you need help to do an aveinst let me know.. I got it all setup a default installation. IF you get the chance to upload it to avedesk.philc.ca that would be cool too Link to comment

shmengie
bah, shmengie now you are making me feel bad again i'm gonna give you a tiny little hint: this would be a whole different game if the starting number was 97 instead of 99. Link to comment
RIMMER
Hey, there was algorithm flaw, that helped to win a very simple way. Redownload it, I changed something. There's one easy strategy. In the previous version you were just to take 3 and then 2 till the end. This version will make you think a bit. The link is the same: http://rimmer333.spymac.net/downloads/soft/nimmer/nimmer.zip .Anyway, thanks for so much attention Link to comment

Excuse me please for double posting. Link to comment
shmengie
as long as i have to go first, it's impossible to win, now that you've fixed it. Link to comment
Phat-Liz0rd
as long as i have to go first, it's impossible to win, now that you've fixed it. It's still possible to win. If someone is interested in this, I have a nice mathematic solution to it. You'll basicly always be capable of winning if it starts at 99 and the only numbers you can pick are 1,2 and 3. _cell
There's some voodoo here, I guess. But there's no 'nimmer' in AveScripter section. I unpacked the archive as described and restarted AveDesk... but still nothing. Please, help? Link to comment
RIMMER
aaa ... dunno ... try to quit AveDesk and launch it again...experienced the same problem today with a new desklet under development. I was really surprised when I got all the files ready and... nothing new under AveScripter branch.... Link to comment
pcm
You need to make 100% sure that the files are in the subdirectory of Avescripter. Not sub sub. The scripter looks at the subdirectory for each directory and opens the XML to see if its a "Valid" script. Link to comment
