tauhshi
Is there a way to make iTunes burn songs to an .iso file, or right into a directory instead of burning to a CD and then Ripping the music from it? Link to comment
dreamsINdigital
You can try mounting the ISO with Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools, and then maybe iTunes could detect it and rip it. Link to comment
tauhshi
No, we want iTunes to burn to an ISO file, not rip it . . . Link to comment
dreamsINdigital
Your post is confusing, partially by your choice of words. So you want to make an ISO file out of some songs you have on the computer? If so you can use something like WinISO to do that, not iTunes.orYou're wondering if iTunes can burn an ISO? No. Link to comment
qda
making an iso and burning an iso is the same thing (as proven by your post 'dreams'.. and itunes can't do it.. unless there's a burning emulator which can trick iTunes into thinking that a mounted volume is a cdrw or something).. chrislee149
Making an ISO and burning an ISO wouldn't be the same thing...Making an ISO would involve the creation of an ISO file.Burning an ISO would transfer that ISO to a CD. Link to comment
liter o cola
But burning TO an iso file is the same thing as making an iso Link to comment
Paralex
iTunes is a music program... Link to comment
belgrano
You can't use iTunes to create an .iso image with audio tracks instead of burning them to a cd. Nor make iTunes convert a mp3 file to an audio track and store it on your hdd. All you can do is to convert between formats: mp3, wav, aac, apple lossless, aiff. You cannot create an .iso image from an Audio CD, no matter what application you use. You can create .nrg, .bin/cue, but not an .iso. Link to comment

Oh well, Apple sucks Link to comment
