aleph Posted July 5, 2006 Report Share Posted July 5, 2006 To delete- boot into safe mode and then take ownership of the files and you should easily be able to delete them.if all you had to do was dulpicate the exact username to crack ntfs encryption i wouldnt trust is as far as I could throw it.In the future you should send them to yourself using PGP. Then youll always have a (relatively secure) backup. Link to comment

If you formatted xp then there's no way to decipher the data. Link to comment

lokster Posted September 3, 2006 Report Share Posted September 3, 2006 what i did was go to safe mode and right click the folder, like my documents and see the ownership and sharing properties, you have to be in the admin account. just click here and there and im sure you'l unlock it.good luck Link to comment
