Nitsuj99
Im not sure if this is where I post this, but I just wanted to know if it was possible in windows xp to show the floppy/CD/DVD drive icons on the desktop when you put the cd/dvd/floppy into the computer. Link to comment
Croat
You can achieve this by useing avedesk and automounter. Link to comment
Nitsuj99
would this be possible in desktopx or yahoo widget engine?, because I have both and would prefer to have less programs installed Link to comment
Croat
Sure, but I dont know if it exists! My suggestion is that you exchange that two programs for AveDesk which is better and get the automounter from here. Link to comment
Nitsuj99
ok, ill check it out, thanks alot Link to comment
Nitsuj99
Hmm, it is a great program, but I dont want to give up my current widgets and engines, maybe if someone was able to make an automounter for yahoo widget engine or prefferably If anyone knows of a smaller program that will automount drives? Ive heard of deskmount, but I dont like the shortcut mark there, and it mounts them wherever XP wants them Link to comment
