Timan
Awesome, post ^, thanks for the mod for the skin, I couldn't figure out how to do it. phpBB is very simple to skin so I felt it had to be a simple version, but that fixes that issue. Nice work again. Link to comment

Namaless
I would want to participate to the planning of the version for phpBB2.I have found the presence of many errors beyond to some additions that it would appeal to to add to me. Now, as in the licence it seems to have understood to me that it is not possible to modify it without the authorization of the producer, therefore are here to ask it you. It's possible? Timan
If I understand you correctly... You are allowed to do whatever you want with the skin when you get it. Only thing you may not do without permission from me, is re-distribute it in any means/form. I'm all for modding the skin, can't have everyone with the same skin now can we Link to comment
Namaless
ah, ok Thanks Then as soon as I have time control better all the skin. After that you I send a pm, ok? Link to comment
DieHard
Awesome. On phpBB, IMHO, I find that you, Timan, and Scott Stubblefield are the best high-quality template/skin/theme designer I've seen so far. Mad props! One from vBulletin (now phpBB) and one from phpBB. Trust me, I got very good eyes on quality artwork. You two guys need to team up or be personal friends, what amazing work.http://www.realdealstubblefield.com Link to comment

Silver9990
One problem: now idiots will want to use phpBB more because there's a decent skin for it  and there'll be more hacked boards and crap...Otherwise, I love it.And why exactly are people that use phpBB idiots? Link to comment
Ellada
Because phpBB is über unsecure. There are are better alternatives with same/better funcionality (punBB) Link to comment
NSS Majin Buu
Umm... Since phpBB is free... shouldn't the skins be free too? Just curious as to what you think.I'm just thinking it profitably... IPB makes sense to have to pay for since you need to buy IPB to even use skins, so selling skins works. But since phpBB is free....? Link to comment
Timan
phpBB maybe free but the skin is donationware. The skins used to be free (vBulletin3.0~) but after putting more and more work into it, I decided to ask for donations. Where you get any version of the skin (vB, ipb, phpbb) + support.Surely you can find free phpbb skins on the web, but most suck or are small changes. Then there trying to get help on changing things is another story. Link to comment
NSS Majin Buu
Yeah, that's true. Ok, thank you for explaining that.I use phpBB cuz I can't afford IPB due to college and all that. Otherwise I'd buy it and just donate for the IPB skin. lol Link to comment
lab7
Cant upload avatars since installing the aqua-soft template users cant upload avatars using the profile area. Silver9990
You can't really call it donationware, read below:Donationware is a licensing model that supplies fully operational software to the user and requests a donation be paid to the programmer. It generally falls into two categories and the programmer should specify which of these meanings they intend.Category 1: Given away with a suggestion that anyone using the software makes a donation to offset the costs of creating this software.Category 2: A reasonably satisfied user is suggested to compensate the programmer if real value or use is achieved from the program. The compensation amount is left up to the discretion of the user. This amount is based on a value the user estimates they derived from the program.Found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donationware Link to comment
