apple lowers price of the ibook

apple has lowered the price of the ibook to just $999, and released a new 800mhz model. i've seen them as low as $899 (refurb) and $989 (new)... looks like they're pretty damn affordable now.

Thanks to the price drop I am finally getting an iBook. But the $999 dollars is about $1600 here in Burlington, Canada. So it is still pretty damn expensive for me but its better than the $1800 it was before.

usually they go cheaper when they get lower on us, but it is not instantly, since the stores, already bought them at a price, so they could sell them at the old price, So changing it instalty, will result as a loss for them, thats the main reason

yeah, the canadian price has stayed pretty much the same... but at least no one can say its expensive, coz I compared the price to a pc laptop and its reasonable...
