Guest hank freid plans
Apple today announced the latest in its kind-of-sort-of successful iPod line, the sixth generation iPod "classic." Like the brand new iPod nano, the flagship iPod is also sporting an all-new interface. For more information use this site:http://www.engadget.com/2007/09/05/apples-new-ipod/ Link to comment

For more information use this site:http://www.engadget.com/2007/09/05/apples-new-ipod/umm and you're quoting this article on the 6th of June 2008 why exactly? On another front. I believe the iPod classic will turn to flash memory shortly, with the same capacities released for the same prices only in a slightly slimmer form; perhaps even colours.I also believe it will include bluetooth headphones. because I said so.Also, the new 3G video Nanos have not been as successful as the 2G iPod nano's due to thier shape.Apple will redesign the Nano to be "Slim" again and the screen will be rotated 90* lengthways to accomadate. Thus, when playing video- you would need to rotate the iPod to view it upright... however, normal menu browsing would remain unchanged, except for the fact that you can see a longer list of songs. timbob
Tempted to go and get a 16gb iPod touch to replace my 32gb 5th gen. Half the size is quite a leap but my theory is, how long do you have to be away from your computer to want to have anything over 20gb? If you are away for a long time that's where a laptop comes in handy. Anyway, my question is this. Is there rumours of a 7gen soon? Don't want to spend £269 to find there is a new one in a months time. My 5th gen can make it a few more months. Link to comment
beef
Apple is coming out with a new iPhone, so they probably will come out with a new iPod touch. It probably wont be until fall. If your not that far from you computer, you could always just buy a shuffle, i seen them for $25. The only thing that sucks is that there is no screen. Just a thought. Link to comment
timbob
Already have a 5th gen 30gig and an old usb stick stylé shuffle Link to comment
iGo
My 5th gen can make it a few more months. Heck, I have 4.5G (color screen) 20gig iPod... and it can make another year... minimum, without doubt. I was tempted to buy iPhone. But I waited for second revision to come up, plus more storage. 16gig is good enough for me. But iPhone 3G doesn't give anything ground breaking to me. So I think, I'll stick with my iPod for another year. See what next year brings, and buy accordingly. (plus my girlfriend is threatening to me, that if I buy 16gig iPhone... she's gonna tread it with her 4gig. ) Link to comment
