Well it looks like someone needs a new keyboard xD

I might start a clone (based on VLC, and maybe BASS for the music engine, or maybe you will just HAVE to use my media player as engine), but it will be without the effects and all, without proper remote control support (no idea about how these things works ! I could make it work with the Apple Remote, but I think it would be pretty useless, no ?), interface a mix of Tiger's and Leopard's respective Front Rows. (I like Tiger's Caroussel and launch animation too much)

But I haven't got much free time and interest on a such project (well, I have a Mac and I prefer MCE so ...)

Oh, and I'm a the of the "lazy" kind xP

It's called a label that the board allows you to set when you create an group. (Admin puts teh red label for the "Administrators" group, everybody in the Admin group will have that label. Normal users can't set it

Seriously man, that was rude and in general, plainly messed up. I can't believe you can sit there and say that when someone spent hours of hard work and time coding that thing up. I never really found a use for Sarah Media, but I'm not gonna call it a "load of BS" just because I don't like it, you should take into account the amount of work and dedication put into a project before you insult the application (and indirectly the developer). If you have the ability to write a better program, then by all means do so, otherwise I have no idea how you could gather the balls to make such a statement. Even given the condition that you could code something better, it's still just plain rude and tasteless.

There is an English translation included in the download. Read the readme, I know there are instructions in there somewhere.

this front row stuff has been discussed in many ways for many years in many threads. One of the best recommendations so far is the use of Team Media Portal. It offers many skins that would get close to the front row presentation of Apple - the engines behind work well under vista (providing one can get a good/appropriate tuner card) and xp.

as NC1089 stated above - using "front row" search will give anyone many many good hits in this subject
