matonga
Dear matonga, just to inform you or maybe another request,is it possible to change the text/name that appears on the OB when it's activated as a "Finder" maybe,at the moment is something like "Form2",thank's,appreciated I suppose that's the window caption :-) It is the stack window. Because it is borderless (has no title, no borders, no buttons) I didn't change the caption Now I changed it to Finder, it will be available in next upload. Link to comment

bSAYZ
I use RKLaucnher 0.41. Beta build 282 (the one that was issued here with KK menu stacks) http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread....auncher+leopard. downloaded again the latest version of stacks but it doesn't want to open any shortcuts. Files are okay. open in folder shortcut is also okay.I just don't understand what the problem might be. I have tried different folders. Still no luck.bSAYZwhich version of RKLauncher do you use. I use same your version. [RKLaucnher 0.41. Beta build 282] Link to comment
mflo
Aside from my icon not showing up, this is great. Using it along with kkmenu on RKL.edit - nm, renamed the default icon within the stardocklet folder lol and used my own. Link to comment
Raats
Hi,Raats, how are you ?I couldn't find that kind of ini file in mine. OB2 ?,no,is it much better ?,thank'sLook for the default ob.ini file in your directory. When you open it you will see that it is designed to rename Win apps to Mac applications. You need to add your new app to the list and then give it the name you want to use. Then save.I have got OB2 and it seems pretty powerful. I don't do much work on PC so I have not tested it properly it seems to allow transparent values for the ob bar and more.Busy here mate. Got a lot of work to do for a new movie Link to comment
Leonhart
Matonga, you're such an incredible developer, first Win Expose then Flying Cow and now this amazing docklet, you're doing such an amazing work for the Mac Emulation on PC, I can't try this new project right now, but soon I'll try it on Vista starter with RocketDock Sorry for my bad english Leon Link to comment

chatpristi
Hi, as I said, I have tried that little wonder on Objectdock. It works fine except I had trouble choosing an icon. When I click on the icon button to select the path to my .png, it opens OD's standard icon selection window, I can select my icon but when I click OK the window closes and the path is not in the box, and the docklet keeps its default icon. The only solution to go round that little hitch was to type the path in the box. Now it works. Link to comment
alabanco
I tjought that maybe the shortcuts don't work on my computer because matonga said that these stacks require Gdi+ (GdiPlus). I have WIn XP SP2 although I couldn't find that GdiPlus. dll file in my system folder. I downloaded and install but still no luck. May be there is smth else ?Its just a mystery thing. it opens folders, files but none of the shortcuts. just close the grid after I click on any shortcut.I've tried on my other notebook. The same thing there. Is i a curse ? Link to comment
thewer
Hi there - thanks for adding the default icon! With AveDesk unfortunately it still doesn't work so far: I can add the Stack docklet to the Desktop as an AveDesk item. When right-clicking it however, the default AveDesk menu shows up, offering only the "desklet properties" to access options for your docklet. At "desklet properties" I can change the icon, which is fine. What I can't find in the default right-click menu, is an option to change the path - which I guess is all that is missing... This is funny, as the Stack works with OD - there is an extra entry in the default right-click menu for calling the Stack options. This entry is missing with AveDesk. In RK Launcher I noticed the default menu is suppressed, Stack options show up automatically on a single right-click. This is strange, too, as e.g. KKMenu, which also suppresses the default menu, works fine with AveDesk. Suppressing the default menu works here. Well, thought I give you a detailed description - I don't know if you want to spent efforts for making your docklet work with AveDesk, but if, I hope this helps. (What I also tried is, editing the stack entry in the AveDesk theme/config file: Normally the docklet parameters are stored here in a kind of xml-scheme with [TMP]Folder=... This however want work, probably because the parameters listed have to be defined before in the config file, too?! There's a lot of code I can't interprete directly...) Link to comment
Leonhart
just tried on Vista Starter with rocketdock and all work just fine, I can open files and folder from the stack and the open animation it's really smooth, just a function I want to be implemented is that, the default icon of this docklet is actually the icon of the pressed stack, I want to know if it's possible to change the icon (the selected one by the user) with the default (the pressed) when you click on the stack docklet?Leon Link to comment
Fosssi
@matongaVLC now working! Thanks!Still no shortcuts on rklauncher 0.41 beta build 282Greetings Fosssi Link to comment

matonga
@all: New version uploaded! Now it has Fan effect also! Enjoy Edit: Use with care, Fan effect only for bottom side docks. I'll add other positions in near future. @Leonhart: Yes, it is possible. Is this default Leopard behavior? @thewer: Ok, I'll keep an eye on this. Maybe AveDesk compatibility with Object Dock docklets, or maybe I misimplemented something. I suppose I'll download AveDesk, RKLauncher and... oh, I just don't remember... and test by myself. @alabanco: On startup menu, select Run..., type regedit.exe and press Enter. Navigate to My Computer, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, .lnk. In the right panel should appear "(Default)" with Data column showing "lnkfile", of type "REG_SZ". I have no idea what else to check... is this a problem specific to RKLauncher? Did you try with other docks? @chatpristi: If you type something (anything) in the icon box, then go use the select icon dialog, the icon box remains showing what you typed? Or it blanks? @Hussaini HB: New version uploaded, now it should show Finder instead of Form2. Link to comment

Leonhart
And also for who wants the pressed stack icon reflected (like in the leopard dock) here it is P.S:it seems that this docklet is using the stack icon that I've done for one of my icons pack, but without reflection, correct me if I'm wrong Link to comment
Husaini HB
OOOhhh, what???!!!,You are crazy matonga,he he,OMG,don't know what to say, now,I think this is really perfect now !!!,thank's man. This is the shot Link to comment
Ghostwalker
I think docklet development might be your calling for awhile I thought all the great docklet developers were dead. If you consider making anymore docklets I'm sure we could come up with suggestions. Link to comment

chatpristi
Hi again, Didn't have a chance to try you suggestion with OD. I've just installed the new version on my desktop puter running rocketdock and I selected the fan effect. It look nice but, as my dock is at the top of the screen, I can't see the fan spreading out, because it always opens above the dock. Is this normal ? Link to comment
mflo
New version still works on Vista Ultimate / RKL.Chatpristi - "Use with care, Fan effect only for bottom side docks. I'll add other positions in near future." Link to comment
chatpristi
Thanks for your quick reply mflo, I'll be patient. I prefer grid mode anyway ;-) One last thing : I looked at the screenshot above and, contrary to Husaini HB, my dock displays the text under the stacks window (see the screenshot) Link to comment
