no, im dead serious, its california, anythings possible here lol. Seriously, hes like one of the top video game masters and like completes tournaments around the world

O_o what will happen to me? I already did ask "other people", they said the same... at least people who are customizing advocates in the community and they agree but then again im sure people have some nasty things to say about UGUI

A tighter community means tighter, high quality releases. Just saying.

10 000 posts also means nothing, so.... >_>

Customizing advocates? ok.... and I wonder how old they are

Tighter community, you miss out on a lot of people and while some of your releases may be "higher quality" its because you dont let any members in that don't know how to do anything Lol, you just put in people you know, your friends without letting others have an opportunity to join because they're not good enough

And that's exactly the point, while reading the rules, the user will realize that we're a serious no shit community and that noobs or people who are "not good enough" won't manage well. But i mean, if you wanna take the noobs off our hands, by all means go ahead.

what does that have to do with anything :confused:?! talent can come at all ages >_>

Isn't that what I was trying to say? :slant: We're not just for 14-19 year olds which are good at making skins and wallpapers, everyone can join and release, both experienced people and noobs just like at aqua-soft

Do you guys really want to know why you got ~500 members? Because people who use Forum-motion or whatever search for it on the site. They say "oh I might like this" and go ahead and join. It's really just FM doing the work for you...

lols. CTMD is NOT doing great... we're too lazy to promote and put ads on it and crap... we really like it this way, very quiet. Because this way we can work on all the 10,000 of crap we want to put into it without having so much weight on the forums to worry about. The plan is, to wait on the heavy broadcasting and ads, etc, until we get the site *exatcly* the way we want it.

That's how CTMD is going to work soon. Gonna happily flick off GoDaddy's outrageous conditions and use our own server on our own connection to host the site. Much faster, more efficient, etc. Which is great, because no calling tech support in india and having to wait 4 hours on hold just for them to tell you "it will be back shortly". :).

2 weeks tops, just until this month runs out on GoDaddy's server... then we're free!

You know what, here's a tip.

If you don't want to spend money (or if you don't have it) on expensive hosting for a site, do it yourself. Back in the wee days of MySillyPC, the site ran on an old Pentium III 900MHz with 192MB of RAM, on Windows 2000. The site ran outstanding with it. So if you have an old machine laying around, with a good ISP, you're in the clear. Just shell out $10 a year for a domain and you're in business.

A big announcement to everyone who is a member at Galaxy GUI:

We are finally going independent and moving to our own servers! :D

Because of this move, our URL will be changing to galaxygui.NET, different from the old galaxygui.COM!

Visit the new site (Almost ready for public opening announcement as of this post): http://www.galaxygui.net/ :D

Note: Old accounts will NOT work, you MUST re-register
