Mateo1041 Posted May 30, 2008 Report Share Posted May 30, 2008 I've been having trouble with RocketDock lately where the special system icons take ages to load (minutes at a time before the actual window will show up). For example, My Computer is currently mapped to "::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}". However, double-clicking the "My Computer" icon on my desktop works perfectly. Has anyone else experienced this super slow delay before? :-( Link to comment
wasko Posted May 30, 2008 Report Share Posted May 30, 2008 look in task manager and see how much CPU is used with RocketDock, maybe it is not working well.If it not, try to reinstall application.Is same thing happen when you try to open any shortcut or just explorer windows? Try with drag them to the dock instead of map them. Link to comment
Mateo1041 Posted May 30, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 30, 2008 Tried all that and RocketDock is using under 10K. Also tried mapping via the drag and drop method. Sometimes closing RocketDock and restarting will help while other times it won't. Opening windows and apps via any other method works just fine. The only thing I haven't tried is reinstalling.
