parry
Ok so I'm trying to export a list of songs from my iTunes libary and was wondering if there was anyway to get the views that you can get when you choose to print your library and maybe save it as a HTML file? Link to comment
Slewed
can you be a little more specific on that? I think i know what you want but i'm not sure... Link to comment
parry
Well if you choose the simple export option and save your music as a txt file everything is jumbled etcI found that when i selected the 'Print' option there were many layouts avalible to print my music off. But i was wondering instead if it was possible to save a list of my music, but in the format of the print layouts? Link to comment
Sartre
A custom printer driver like Click to Convert can print to pdf or html files. There are free options for printing to pdf but I'm not sure about html. Link to comment
parry
Would that program integrate with iTunes, or is there more to it? Link to comment
Slewed
well no it acts as a fake printer in the list of printers, i have one which shipped with my version of office called 'Microsoft Office Document Image Writer' and 'Microsoft XPS Document Writer'You can get what you wish to achieve by saving the playlist as an xml, using a program to change that to m3u (google it), then opening it in a tagging program called mp3tag (google it) and selecting 'export to file', although thats probably too many steps to do for just 1 playlist.
