I personally don't see any benefit to subscribing to your youtube channel. It won't direct anybody but me to your videos :P

That's what I'm Saying, It'll keep you updated XWDock, and all of my other videos :P ... Well at least it'll help me out too :)

I mean if "Use higher quality" option is off, icons should magnify as they do in XWD 5.4.

This way all users would have the choice to get the SMOOTHEST magnification, or not (for those users who doesn't support it.)

I think I like my idea o_O I mean, this way, when you zoom fast and when you zoom slow, you get the same quality!

Every 4 frames, update. Every 4 pixels, also update. This way, fast scrolling will update every 4 pixels, and slow scrolling will update every 4 frames. I mean, it's not like you mouse moves 1 pixel at a time, right? ;)

1 pixel at time is still the HIGHEST QUALITY.:cool:

Yeah, but it's highest quality that is wasted :P If you move your mouse at 4 pixels per frame, there's no point in rendering intermediate frames... similarly, if you move it at 1 pixel per 4 frames, there's no need to render 4 times.

@all: let's stop posting about the corrupted installer zip file and just wait till bobah updates it; I'm sure he'll notify us at this thread when he gets it fixed. Let's just be patient and wait.

Note that I'll delete any new message about this matter and also all these messages already posted when this problem gets fixed.

I don't know where this goes, so it'll go here :)

Scrolling has become unsmooth again. I'm not sure what this "Optimize Magnification" does, but it sure as heck didn't optimize anything. Also, icons tend to lag during the very start of stack animation, and the very end when you close it. This happens for both fans and grids.

XWD doesn't seem to be taking full advantage of my processor. CPU usage never goes above 35, when it would go up to 60 before.

So it's not a bug... just some observations.

Edit: Ugh... it's most likely my computer... Gonna need to clean stuff up now.

It optimizes: when it's checked, magnification works only every 4th pixels, when unchecked it works every pixel. About stacks, soryy but how can I paint and stack animation and magnification at the same time ? it's imposible.

but when I turn off magnification, stacks are still failing :S I have a huge feeling this is just my computer though. Spending the day cleaning it out now :)

Edit: so yeah. After virus scan, detected a few trojans. Everything working peachy again :D

Edit2: however, with optimization off, there are still moments where icons aren't updating. I think this is because you round off a value somewhere in there. If possible, please only round off things (like x, y, width, height) in the last step of calculating :)

...I'm tired of putting up screenshots and listing out features. Just take it. The update of my "neon dock" for xwd 5.6.

Lol. Shishimaru didn't have to fix his screenshots. My screenshots have to be re-taken, re-edited, and I have to change the xwd settings and everything... Since I'm not particularly fond of updating my skin anymore... I got lazy :P

Another topic to possibly discuss here: I recently did something that caused the icons to "unzoom" when you mouseover them... it was really trippy :P

I guess you can ask bobah13 that question.

Hi Siik, i like your videos, they look very professional, with the transitions and everything. :)

Please don't get me wrong, if i give you some suggestions: more than the first half of the vid (1:30min) is static and boring. You should do this part (moving over icons & show settings) in ~15-20sec, imho.

Instead you should focus on the effects & features, and i miss a lot things here:

* Show Fan-Stack & Menu-Stack, too.

* Show Hover-Effect on Grid view.

* Show more Detail on the Gallery, and here show the Wallpaper-Switch feature (right click on a image).

* Show magnification

* Show "Reserve Space for Dock" - feature

* Show Minimize to Dock - Feature

* Show Resize with dragging Separator - feature

* Show Video & Image Preview (hold left click on a image / video in a stack)

* Maybe you could show some docklets, too, but i don't feel comfortable in requesting this, so you can skip this. ;)

You don't have to show all of this, but i would love it, to see at as many of these features as possible, because these features are, what makes XWindowsDock really special.

Unlike Panta, I really think your Videos can help promoting the Dock for Bobah, and i would be happy if you can do the official video!!!

But exactly like Panta, I don't understand your constant ask for channel subscribers. Can you explain, why this is important for you? Do you get something for it or something else? I myself don't have a youtube - account, so I won't subsribe anyway. But I think other people will be more willing to subsribe, if they know the reason... But unlike Panta, I don't care, if you ask for subscribers or not. If it makes you happy ;)
