ericacemedia Posted February 1, 2009 Report Share Posted February 1, 2009 Okay, so I installed Flyakite on my PC about a week ago, I love it so much but my problem arose when I installed some windows updates. My taskbar immediatly turned into the old windows style, and I couldn'e get the Mac Style back. I uninstalled Flyakite and reinstalled but to no avail, I still have the dumb windows looking taskbar. I want the Mac one back. I'm a poor Graphic Designer with no money for a "REAL" Mac so this is my closest thing to it. Thanks... Link to comment

Did you make sure that when installing Flyakite that you installed the Tiger Visual Style? Go to your desktop properties after installing and make sure that you still have the Tiger VS checked. mps69 Posted February 1, 2009 Report Share Posted February 1, 2009 Depending on the Windows update the UX Patch might need to be done again, especially if the update was for SP3, you'll need to google for that patch. Link to comment

elamderek574 Posted June 14, 2009 Report Share Posted June 14, 2009 You need to install the Universal UXTheme patch. You can find it on CNET downloads. It is compatible with SP2 and SP3, I had the same problem and this fixed everything. Link to comment
